Are There Any Affordable, Decent Quality American Made Cordless Drills On The Market?
I am looking for a cordless drill / tool kit, I want a good tool that I can afford, which is made here in America!!! any help would be appreciated.
God Bless America!
Milwaukee hands down. You get what you pay for. Although they are designed for the contractor, they are affordable for the homeowner. When of course, you compare apples to apples. One thing I would recommend is if you are not planning on using it for awhile, keep the batteries maintained. Personally, I go through about 2 batteries a year but I have 5 tools that I use almost daily and I always keep 8 batteries. Others that dont use their tools daily tend to go through more batteries than I do.
Made in the USA is always my first choice, too.
Second choice is always an American company that assembles in the USA, and third is an American Company.
DeWalt tools have never let me down, and they have several price ranges, based on the voltage of the tool. For a bit more money, there’s Milwaukee; and they still make a lot of their tools in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Here is a review of the best cordless drills – unfortunately US makers don’t rank too high..
I have a BLACK&DECKER 14 volt that is a very good drill…..i recommend to all my friends
