Dear Mr. Carter I plan to install kitchen cabinets in my kitchen that is 10x10. It's a very small kitchen. I know nothing about drill. I follow your videos and thought I'd ask you if I 12V drill would do the job. I will not be using the drill that often. Maybe once in 6 months the most. Do I really need to spend $100 on a drill that I'll use just to install the 10x10 kitchen once? Or can I get away with buying something less expensive drill like Craftmaster or Black&Decker?

It comes very close. The only thing a cordless drill lacks is the sensitive clutch and depth-setting feature. The point is that you can use a screw gun to drive screws. Most come with bits as part of the tool. Is a cordless drill the perfect tool to drive screws? Of course not, but it can work in a pinch. What's more, not all people can afford to have both tools.

I have tried both the 36v and the 18v drill. Either works well. The 18v actually turns more RPM's so the bike is a little faster. The big advantae of the 36 Volt may be battery life, as the battery is physically larger and lasts longer. As far as performance, either has been great for me.
